This study examines the impact of infrastructural development on socio-economic growth in Adamawa State, using Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s administration as a case study. The research adopted a descriptive survey design with a sample size of 384 respondents selected through multi-stage sampling techniques, while data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis via SPSS. The study is anchored on Modernization Theory, which explains how infrastructure drives economic transformation and social advancement through improved productivity, human capital development, and institutional modernization. The findings reveal that roads infrastructure, healthcare facilities, educational infrastructure, and employment generation all have positive and statistically significant effects on socio-economic growth in Adamawa State, with employment generation emerging as the most influential factor. The study concludes that infrastructural development under the Fintiri administration has significantly contributed to socio-economic improvement by enhancing mobility, healthcare delivery, education, and job creation, although the magnitude of impact varies across sectors. It is therefore recommended that the state government sustain and expand investments in road networks, healthcare systems, educational facilities, and employment-generating initiatives, particularly through SME support, youth empowerment programs, and public-private partnerships, to ensure inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development in Adamawa State.
